Over the last few years, my students have been accepted at many universities, including Cornell, Georgetown, Brown, Virginia, Notre Dame, Michigan, Florida, Miami, Vanderbilt, Johns Hopkins, Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia Tech, Emory, Tulane, Penn State and Temple.
About Larry Smith, M.Ed.
I’ve been helping young people move forward with their lives for many years– as a tutor, a teacher, a counselor, and as a parent to my own children. In addition, my background as a counselor for teens allows me to really tune into the thought process of my students, so I can see where they might be having trouble and how best to help them.
Graduate of Cornell University– Engineering major, with additional emphasis on Child Development and Psychology.
M.Ed. in Counseling from the University of Missouri– St. Louis, specializing in counseling adolescents.
I’ve been a certified teacher in Secondary Math, and a licensed Counselor. My specialties: all high school math subjects, physics, and SAT Math.
